About me
My name is Bink Nieuwland and I live in Haarlem. In my spare time I enjoy sailing around with guests and showing our beautiful city. I speak English and Dutch and can tell a lot about the city and its surroundings.
It is a private boat trip, so we can do both a standard boat trip, where I tell something about the history of the city of Haarlem. Or we can arrange a separate boat trip in consultation, which families like, for example: sailing to a nearby lake the "Mooie Nel" for a nice swim.
Enkhuizen sloop
I sail in this comfortable, classic, robust motor sloop. It is a classic design built after the original design of an English lifeboat. I can welcome up to 6 people on board.

Private Canal Cruise Haarlem: experience the beautiful historic city center of Haarlem in a comfortable way from my luxurious Enkhuizen open sloop.
This small-scale and personal cruise includes a unique presentation in Dutch and English about the history and development of Haarlem and about the buildings and art objects along the sailing route. I can of course provide catering on request, such as coffee, tea, cold beers or soft drinks.
Boat Tour
What can you expect from the Haarlem Boat Tour.
We step on board at one of the most beautiful spots in Haarlem, the Schotersingel. We sail calmly out of this canal in the direction of the Spaarne. Then sail past the old Droste Cacao factory, the factory halls of Figee, and then return to the center.

The mill de Adriaan soon welcomes us and then we follow the Spaarne and sail past the Teylers Museum and numerous old warehouses with a rich history.
When we sail towards the Leidsvaart, we pass the Frans Hals museum, the Stads Schouwburg and the St Bavo Cathedral.

We will then slowly sail back through the new canal towards the Schotersingel, so we get off at the starting point.

The entire tour takes about 1.5-2 hours.
The costs of this tour are: €120 per tour.
